Five New Vendors to Expand Offerings on Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace

Floridians can now shop for affordable supplemental health care products and services on centralized web portal launched by Florida Health Choices

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Florida Health Choices (FHC) is expanding the supplemental health care products and services available on Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace, which launched on March 4th. In the coming weeks, consumers shopping on the web portal will find new plan options that can be purchased to enhance health insurance plans or fill benefit gaps.

The expanded options will allow Marketplace visitors to shop and compare prices for discount plans that include dental, vision, prescription, telemedicine, chiropractic, lab work, diabetic supplies and other products that are bundled into custom health care packages.

The companies offering these new plans are:
• Argus Dental & Vision
• Benefit Services of America
• Coverdell & Company
• New Benefits
• Solstice Benefits

They will be joining Careington International Corporation and bring the number of discount plan options available on the Marketplace to nineteen.

“The Marketplace is growing and shoppers will soon have more discount plan offerings to compare and find an option that fits their health care needs and budget,” said Florida Health Choices CEO Rose Naff. “We believe our centralized web portal is helping to fill a need for Floridians who are looking for innovative ways to save on their health care expenses and those who may have gaps in their existing health coverage.”

Supplemental insurance plans, like dental insurance, and prepaid health clinic policies covering doctor and clinic visits will be added to the Marketplace later this year.
