New Products Available on Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace
Floridians can shop, compare and purchase discount health care plans and services on centralized web portal
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Florida Health Choices (FHC) announced the addition of three new discount plans now available for consumers to purchase on Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace. The new plans give consumers access to substantial discounts on a wide range of procedures and products such as dental, vision, prescription, telemedicine, chiropractic, lab work, diabetic supplies and other services that can bundled into a custom health care package.
To accommodate the growing number of products and services being added to the Marketplace, Florida Health Choices has increased the functionality of the web portal, allowing consumers to pick the plans they want to compare side-by-side before they buy.
“With the federal exchange closed, we are Florida’s one-stop shop for health-related plans right now and we are stocking our shelves with more products and services to give Floridians options that fit their needs and budgets,” said Florida Health Choices CEO Rose Naff.
Over the next few months, supplemental insurance plans, like dental insurance, and prepaid health clinic policies covering doctor and clinic visits will be added to the Marketplace.
Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace and Florida Health Choices, Inc. were established by the Florida Legislature to provide improved access to affordable, quality health care for residents statewide. For more information, visit www.myfloridachoices.org.
