Governor Rick Scott Appoints Three to Florida Health Choices Board of Directors
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Governor Rick Scott announced three appointments to the Florida Health Choices Board of Directors.
Charles Clary, 63, of Destin, is an architect with DAG Architects and a former Florida state senator.
Edward “Butch” Simpson, 69, of Ponce Inlet, is a self-employed legal consultant and brings significant health insurance experience to the organization.
Walter Nason, 55, of Orlando, is the chief financial officer for GrayRobinson. He currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the board and will continue his service with this appointment.
“The diversity of experience in our leadership is what helps us to continue improving and strengthening Florida Health Choices,” said Florida Health Choices Chairman Durell Peaden. “Florida’s Health Insurance Marketplace is growing, and along with it, our efforts to give Floridians access to health care.”
