Edward “Butch” Simpson will lead Florida Health Choices
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – At its annual meeting this month, the Florida Health Choices Board of Directors unanimously elected Edward “Butch” Simpson to serve as chairman of the board during 2016. Mr. Simpson succeeds former chairman Durell Peaden, who was remembered fondly during the proceedings.
Mr. Simpson, of Ponce Inlet, is a self-employed legal consultant first appointed by Governor Rick Scott in June 2014 to the board of directors and reappointed in 2015.
Mr. Simpson is a graduate of Stetson University and Stetson College of Law. He is an active member of the Florida Bar.
